Track Name: Buffalo Jump
The brushfire ignites and your friends take flight

running with all of their might.

You're looking ahead and you see the cliff

and how fast they are moving to it.

You foresee the results if they do not slow

but they don't seem to notice the coming woe.

You imagine the guilt in not doing a thing

to try to stop them from falling

Deciding it's for the best,

you put yourself in their lane.

Kind of like standing in front of a train.

You keep pushing away but no one will budge.

You try to get their attention but they won't catch on.

They see fire in your eyes,

but they do not sense demise.

Though your warning's filled with shock,

they still run right off that rock.

There's just one thing left to do,

do you join the flock?

Gaze upon the bloody sprawl.

Will those below you brake your fall?

Try as you might to be a hero,

you can't save them.

You keep pushing away but no one will budge.

You try to get their attention but they won't catch on.

They see fire in your eyes,

but they do not sense demise.

Though your warning's filled with shock,

they still run right off that rock.

Your heart's swelling up with guilt,

as the blood below is spilt.

There's just one thing left to do,

will you join the flock?
Track Name: Lacking Self Control
Get ready, I'm docile right now,

but get ready 'cause I've always been defensive,

and my anger is peeking out.

Get ready, I'm docile right now,

but get ready 'cause I've always been offended

by the things that you say,

and the price that I pay,

for the lack of control I take.

Get ready, I'm docile right now,

but get ready 'cause I'm somewhat tempermental

when I get pushed around.

Get ready, I'm submissive right now,

but get ready 'cause my patience is wearing thinner,

and I can not predict the outcome when I slip.

I can't say I'll regain my grip.

What do I do to deserve this?

Give me a reason to work it out,

and I'll try but do not be surprised

when I fail to prevail over time.

The breaking point is neigh!

And you know, I'm lacking self control.

It's too much of a mess to behold.

Don't request tollerance.

Don't ask for adherance.

Don't excuse intrusion.

I itch for retribution.

Get ready, I'm docile right now,

but get ready 'cause my anger's been brewing!

And, when my pot explodes

it's time to exchange blows.

It's too late to abate the damage you will wear

from the lack of restraint I bear.
Track Name: Will Sans Fear
Silent Prayer,

whispered through the air.

Can you hear them floating?

Hope for joy, impaired.

Leave me be.

Don't confess anything.

I can't be bothered now,

I'm peaceful as the sea.

Beneath these waves,

currents will take

the sorrow away.

The crashing sound,

water and earth collide,

calms the violence inside,

stills my shaking pride.

My heart pounds.

Imagining my body fall,

my ears are ringing out

the waves are reaching up.

Beneath these tears,

lies will sans fear,

sorrow disappear.

Beneath these waves,

Beneath these waves,

currents will take

the sorrow away.
Track Name: The Flock of Cowards
Okay, so maybe I've lost my mind.

But, I can't help but feeling left behind.

Okay, so maybe it's for the best.

I have never been the type to give in

and join the flock

you-join-the-flock-you-join-the-flock-the-flock-you-join-the-flock

I can't believe you join the flock

you-join-the-flock-you-join-the-flock-the-flock-you-join-the-flock

How can it be you join the flock

you-join-the-flock

the flock of cowards wasting all my time.

Can't you see it's a cryin' shame for us?

Do you even know what your running from?

Is it 'cause everyone else does?

How do you dare to be so naieve,

acting like the world owes you something?

life doesn't move for your benefit.

And, yet when problems come you pick your things

up and join the flock

you-join-the-flock-you-join-the-flock-the-flock-you-join-the-flock

How can it be you join the flock

you-join-the-flock

the flock of cowards wasting all my time.

Can't you see it's a crying shame for us?

Do you even know what your running from?

You could use some better judgement, please try.

Have a little bit more patience, don't run.

Can't you see it's a crying shame for us?

Do you even know what your running from? From?

Is it cause everyone else does?
Track Name: February 14th
It's the morning of my break up day.

A little tired, but I'll make it through okay.

I hope she takes it right, what I'm about to say.

Is this going to go as I planned?

It's the morning of my break up day.

As I brush my teeth I rehearse just what I'll say.

My hair's untidy, and untidy's where it stays.

Mark it as the first step I take,

to all is said and done.

My smoking gun:

Retribution

in my eyes

is just a price

I pay so I can run.

It's the afternoon of break up day.

We eat lunch at her favorite cafe.

I know she's sensing the peril that's coming way.

I hope everything goes as planned.

It's the afternoon of break up day.

Just when I think I get it out I choke on cheese souflet

She carries on about her time in Anchor Bay,

as my chances whittle away

for all is said and done.

My smoking gun:

Retribution

in my eyes

is just a price

I pay so I can run.

It's the evening of my break up day.

We sit in silence as I build up to betray.

She takes a giant swig of Gin and Gatorade.

I take breath and let loose my foul play,

and all is said and done.

My smoking gun:

Retribution

in my eyes

is just a price

I pay so I can run.

It's the morning after break up day.

I look upon my room in complete utter decay.

Shards of plate are still embedded in my walls,

but at least I still have my balls.
Track Name: Titanic Work Ethic
You make your work

your only love.

you're intertwined.

Sex is alive inside the punching of the clock.

And, soon eight hours

turns into twelve,

turns into hell.

You might as well just spend the night here,

inside your cubicle nightmare.

The sinking ship

will swallow you in,

with all it's magic.

The sinking ship

will swallow you in

to the atlantic.

You and your boss

in an affair.

He's over your head

and watching you stare into the monitor to cope

And, as you type your S.O.S.

He repeats every word he said.

"you're doing a fine job, man."

"Yes, you're doing a mighty fine job, man."

The sinking ship

will swallow you in,

with all it's magic.

The sinking ship

will swallow you in

to the atlantic.

And, I feel fine, apart from the absence of my mind.

And, I feel fine, apart from the rings around my eyes.

And, I feel fine, apart from the absence of my mind.

And, I feel fine, apart from the rings around my eyes.

The sinking ship

will swallow you in,

with all it's magic.

The sinking ship

will swallow you in

to the atlantic.

The sinking ship

will swallow you in,

with all it's magic.

The sinking ship

will swallow you in

to the atlantic.
Track Name: Skipping Stones
Is there something you'd like to say?

Your silence is not comforting me.

I want to know what's on your mind.

I'm aware our love is swinging in the balance.

I'm aware it's dangling slightly, by a thread.

But, at least I try.

To be a loving friend,

to reach you in your need.

Even if it's not perceived to be recieved.

Am I talking in some ancient foreign language?

Or are you just as empty as the air?

We cling to the promises we break,

and push through the fires we create,

skipping rocks across the water counting the ripples they make.

We try to erase what's in our minds

and attempt to swallow all our pride

skipping rocks across the water hoping they reach the other side.

Though talk is cheap to me, I prefer that I hear you speak.

Words to expel my faltering belief.

It is clearly just this weak communication

blanketing the resolve in my soul.

But, at least I try.

Before buckling beneath the weight

though, clearly, I provide more than I take.

If there's any consolation left to hand out.

Then, there's nothing left for me to call my own.

We cling to the promises we break,

and push through the fires we create,

skipping rocks across the water counting the ripples they make.

We try to erase what's in our minds

and attempt to swallow all our pride

skipping rocks across the water hoping they reach the other side.
Track Name: The Boy Who Cried Wolf
These are tears of Joy,

don't mistake my poise,

I am glad you are alive.

This discovery was too much for me

I had feared for your demise.

There's relief in the false alarm,

and I'm happy your free of harm.

If it's okay with you, I'll continue onto my planned destination.

No, it's allright.

I'm glad that you are safe.

You're the boy who cried wolf,

and I'm the town that fell for you.

Maybe someday, in your lifetime you'll require my services.

In the meantime, I will standby. Your hero in waiting.

Maybe someday, in your lifetime you will notice my advances.

In the meantime, I will standby. Your hero in waiting.

I stand by and yearn,

waiting to return to the place where you keep bay.

So attentively, waiting for the scream

that will indicate severity.

And, the others they all ellude

that your only just being rude.

But, it's got to be soon, when the problem is true

and I'll be there to save you.

Track Name: E. D.
Emily, I'm sorry for the things that I've said.

I didn't mean to cause you tear shed.

If I had known better I would've kept my feelings in.

Anytime a man has something special to say,

you always push them away.

I can't believe I thought I wouldn't be the same.

No, I don't want to be your friend.

But, I know that I can pretend.

I'm a pretty damn good actor, baby.

If you want me, I'll be

at Casinos gambling my troubles away,

and praying for my lucky break.

That's more of a chance than you afforded me, anyway.

On the corner of 42nd and France,

if I knew that stop would be our last.

I would've changed my tune I would've changed my story.

No, I don't want to be your friend.

But, I know that I can pretend.

I'm a pretty damn good actor, baby.

If you want me to be.
Track Name: Fall-out
A Thousand metal Angels falling from the sky.

Explode on impact, watch our world begin to die.

A Thousand deaths have stained the hands of helpless men.

A Thousand women fear the future of their children.

How could we think that this would last,

when great empires have faltered in the past?

We fight for control fight to win.

Domination fails to Freedom in the end.

We see the supremacy of the innocent

and watch resistance burned right out of their fragile skin.

But still, a whisper of retaliation bakes

until, an uprise overcomes the suffering we take.

How could we think that this would last,

when great empires have faltered in the past?

We fight for control fight to win.

Domination fails to Freedom in the end.

A Thousand metal Angels falling to the land.

Leaving nothing behind but an obliterated path.

And, those that survive pick remains off of the ground.

To build a future sculpted in the image of the proud.

We'll make it through all this, somehow.

How could we think that this would last,

when great empires have faltered in the past?

We fight for control fight to win.

Domination fails to Freedom in the end.
Track Name: Closing Notes
If you're offended by the charges I have brought upon your name.

Then, consider all the actions you have done to create shame.

From your sense of importance, to your growing cowardace

it's apparent there's a strong need for some change.

Consequently, I'm as guilty as I am the innocent.

I'm not really trying to come off as a giant hipocrite.

But, as a poet I am cursed to bring out the very worst.

Superior to no one, I too will run.

Do not be so hard on yourself,

I am guilty as well, as well, as well.

Just embrace the pain,

and we'll try to stop ourselves again, and again, and again, and again.

Analyzing where we went wrong is a shameful,

shameful crime.

Raising voice and pointing blame is just a graceful

waste of time.

We've all done our part in this play.

Pick up the pieces, clear the board

it's time to put the blame [I was supposed to say game, oops] away.

Do not be so hard on yourself,

I am guilty as well, as well, as well.

Just embrace the pain,

and we'll try to stop ourselves again, and again, and again, and again.
